Challenge
Lucasfilm was about to have a stamp pane commemorating the 30th anniversary of Star Wars in conjunction with their Celebration IV event in Los Angeles. With a once in a lifetime partnership like Lucasfilm, the team and I had to figure out how we can leverage this great partnership to help drive traffic to the Post Offices and increase revenue for The Postal Service's expedited services (Express Mail/Priority Mail/Priority Flat Rate Mail).

Insight
All Star Wars enthusiasts as well as super fans get excited and are willing to do things to get their hands on anything that is Star Wars branded. Especially during special events or time like the 30th anniversary.

Idea
Learn to become the USPS/Jedi Shipping/Mailing Master.

How it works
With the Celebration IV event and a stamp pane reveal underway (exclusively designed by longtime Star Wars poster artist, Drew Struzan) the USPS/Jedi Shipping/Mailing Master promotion gave consumers a fun and engaging way to learn about The Postal Service's expedited services (Express Mail/Priority Mail/Priority Flat Rate Mail). Created an exclusive product for a limited time as well as having a chance to be part of a once in a lifetime celebration event to incent purchase and build further excitement.
