How it works
My team and I used a docu-style filmmaking approach to tell the story of the reciprocal relationship between a content creator and her printer. Dian Holton was the perfect influencer to feature as she was voted “Person to Watch” by Graphic Design USA and was known for her Instagram series “Daily Digits” on what started out as a month-long creative exercise and turned into a passion project that has lasted 1000 days.

With Dian’s vibrant personality and creativity and HP’s Indigo printer’s versatility and flexibility, it lead to the best way to demonstrate, both the creative and PSP (print solution providers) industries, the benefits and endless creativity that can be achieved with an HP Indigo printer in digital printing. It inspired more content where I used animations and photoshoots of Dian’s work and prints from the press to develop assets along the consumer journey from custom statics and animated posts to carousels to lead generation.

We were also tasked to incorporate an existing testimonial video from the client that featured the perspective of a real-life HP user print shop. With this, it helped to create and tailor assets specific to creators, where we showcased the creative possibilities of digital printing that can inspire disruptive design vs PSP, where we demonstrated how indigo digital printing presses can exceed the most creative customers’ expectations and even deliver new printing solutions.
